Golden Laced Polish chickens are know for their feathered heads making them look like they are having a bad hair day. These are light weight birds. They have a mild temperament, however the peripheral vision is limited by their head feathers so they are easily startled. Golden Laced Polishes are good layers, laying medium sized white eggs.

White Leghorn pullets are the industry standard white egg layers that produce all of the eggs for the grocery stores worldwide because they most cost effectively convert feed into eggs. They are also the best white egg laying chicken breed for the backyard flock as well. Leghorns lay very large white eggs. Production Leghorns are great white egg layers that are highly efficient at converting feed into eggs for the table. Leghorns will start laying eggs at about 20 weeks old which is very early. Pullets will lay about 300 white eggs per year. Leghorns have yellow skin. Leghorn cockerels can be used as fryers for the dinner table.
Black Jersey Giant
Black Sex-Linked Chicken are so named because of the distinct characteristics linked to their gender. These chickens are a cross between a Rhode Island Red rooster and a Barred Rock Hen. The males hatch as a black chick with a yellow dot on their heads. They grow up looking like Barred Rock roosters. The hens hatch as pure black chics. They grow up to be a black chicken with deep orange and red feathers flowing into an iridescent blue and green. Black Sex-Linked chickens are a heavy dual purpose breed.
